Death warmed up

Sven clogs.

I have been wearing clogs long before they became trendy - in fact I recall some fun poking at times, maybe not so much in my restaurant days. But now they have doubled in price and can be seen jaunting about the hood in every colour and style for all seasons ....at any given moment. Everyone is hooked.

It's always a bittersweet moment receiving the new ones mind - l feel torn, almost like I'm cheating on my old pair... Which as you can see look like death warmed up, and are truly ready for the bin.

But it's time for these old timers to hit the road and show the new guys some tricks - Sunday brunch/roast today. No shenanigans having to wear them in, straight on and hit the pedal!

RIP my dear friends. I couldn't have done it without you.
