Pesky little bleeders

New growth brings new responsibilities. Yep, it's that time again, when Spring rolls around and everything pops with hues of chartreuse. But with it come the dreaded Aphids. A simple but effective remedy is at hand.

Fill an empty spray bottle with cold water, squeeze a dash of your liquid dish soap in the there, and you are armed with the best non toxic/cheap as chips way to keep those little bleeders off your prize plants. The only trick is that you need to stay on top of it. Turn your back for a day and they'll be back.

Give the plants a good hose before the morning sun to rid of the accumulated dead insects and then watch and wait for any more.

Love to know what's going on in your Plot this Spring.
