Stand Back

Spring!  This is the time to get a sense of what gaps to fill and start balancing out the planting.

Whether that means buying new plants or lifting and moving exsisting ones.

As your working through the garden, keep standing back to get an overview of the space or plant in question. It is so easy to get carried away in a particular spot, without seeing the bigger picture.  Even simply shaping a shrub or pruning tree's and roses.  Standing back will save you a haircut gone bad, or hours of work moving plants around again and again - Musical chairs.

Stand back.  Look at it as a perfect time to pop the kettle on!
